Hauling My Carcass

Today was a lazy day to continue my lazy week. Myself and LG did have to go up to the storage place and get a few boxes though so I decided to run there and meet LG, load the car up and then run back. It was very short and not so sweet. Everything has started to ache and I'm at a bit of a loss at what to do now. Resting for a couple of weeks didn't seem to help and I can usually run between 4 and 6 miles without too much of an issue but after that and the next day, walking is more difficult than it should be for a 29 year old. Maybe it's time for a trip to the doctors.
Stats for day 7 of Juneathon:
Out: 1.04 miles at 7:40 (7:22 pace)
Back: 0.67 miles at 5:12 (7.45 pace)
Sorry to hear about your injury problems. If it's been going on this long a trip to the doctor probably wouldn't go amiss.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
That's a bit of a bugger! And you've got the Thame 10k planned at the end of the month. I hope it's nothing too bad -maybe you're right and a trip to the Dr is a good idea. Our planned Joint Juneathon next Sat can still go ahead... maybe we'll just have to cycle a bit (I have a bike you can borrow) and eat instead.
ReplyDeleteThe doctor could be a good idea but also try getting a podiatrist to observe you running. You could have one leg shorter than another
ReplyDeleteThanks guys. If I get a chance I'm going to make some Podi, Osteo and Doc calls today and see what they say. I'll let you know!
