You'll be unsurprised to hear that day 18 was a repeat of day 17 and many before that and although it wasn't a bad time, I just cannot even anywhere near the pace of my angry day on day 7. I'm determined to beat it though. Mind you, I'm also determined to try and have the ability walk after Sunday's 54 mile single speed cycle to Brighton so you won't find me committing to anything such as beating my best time or breaking that 25 minute barrier! Oh no, you won't find me doing anything quite that stupid!!Also not sure how I'm going to cope with a 10k 3 days after Juneathon when all my distances have been considerably shorter!
After my message on Facebook last night to do with the absolute mound of washing that Juneathon appears to be generating (1 run or ride generates: running shorts, over shorts (as no-one needs to see my arse in that much detail), t-shirt, buff or bandanna and socks plus a cap if it's raining), can I put a request in, that next years Juneathon prize is a months supply of washing powder, fabric conditioner and a small donation to my electricity bill??? Thanks
