Today was D-day. An 87.44 km ride to Brighton. I've only just got home and I'm starving so this is going to be a quickie.
Great fun. Loads of support. 39.8mph achieved. Managed to cycle around a quarter of the way up Ditchling Beacon on a single speed. Legs feel OK. They may not in the morning. As long as you don't take it too seriously (this is a note to the lycra clad bunch) it's a lovely bike ride. I'll be back next year without a doubt!

AWW brilliant, really pleased you enjoyed it Well done mate xxxxx
ReplyDeleteWell done! I heard Ditchling Beacon was closed off though? Must have been after you'd been up it.
ReplyDeleteWill you be doing a longer report tomorrow, so I can see what I missed?
I'll put a bit more in tomorrow's blog. Ditchling was closed for a while. We were held for over 50 mins and there were others behind held for a lot longer.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Well done.
